Jean Marmion selfishly believes that his wife also dreams of retiring in Touraine. But Odile is a true Parisian, and doesn’t want to leave the high speed life style of the city. Marie-Claire, Jean’s sister suggests that the Marmions lease a room of their apartment, to finance the costly remodeling of their Touraine house, and also to delay their move. Diane, their new renter, will inadvertently turn the Marmions’ life topsy turvy.
