Bruno and Isabelle are at a loss. Wads of cash magically appear in their apartment. More and more, day after day, but where does this money come from?
This unexpected wealth coming out of the blue will turn their quiet routine into a nightmare, and their contradictions and frustrations will soon be revealed. What to do with the money? Hide it or report it? Spend it or donate it? Is money not “honestly” earned fully deserved? Appearances of a paranoid maid and a mysterious neighbor will add to the madness that slowly creeps into Bruno and Isabelle’s minds. Money is a recurring theme in theatre. In Thiery’s comedy, it is addressed in a very contemporary way. Money that moves from one place to another, but is untraceable. Money that miraculously multiplies and, of course, money that drives us crazy and spoils human relationships. 2015 French Cultures Festival official event.
