The Ballad of the wood floor

The Ballad of the wood floors (“ La Ballade des Planches ”) was written in 1996 and is made of short plays based on the various themes of the show and the absurd situations that can occur on stage. We staged the background in a scene which you may regard as a banquet, a family reunion in the country side, a garden party or even a wedding. This gathering becomes an excuse for singing, dancing, having fun and why not, for a little theatre performance just like what they used to do for the Pastoral parties in French villages (not so long ago as a matter of fact). We deliberately placed the action in the post second world war era.
